Shift Away from Isolation:
Isolationism was something that many Americans wanted early on. It was basically saying that they did not want to be involved in the problems and wars in England. After a while, America was starting to change their mind about the idea of not being involved with England's problems. This thought started occurring more and more in multiple places because of many events such as the Sinking of the Lusitania and the Zimmerman Telegram. People all around started wanting the U.S. to join the war and beat the Germans. Also, the Allies were in serious need of another major country on their side.
